I prefer Caroline, because is is a beautiful name and because i dislike Josephine. I find Joseohine old fashioned as well as overused. However if you're looking for a mn for Marilyn i think that marilyn Josephine flows better than Marilyn Caroline (which i find quite a mouthful).
