Being Italian myself, it's a bit difficult to be objective. Anyway, here are some of my favourites:

I'd just like to point out that Angelina technically is used only as a nickname for Angela in Italy.

Actually,I have cousins in the south of Italy who are baptised Angelina. This is their full name, not their nicknames and there is several generations of them, as they follow the tradition of naming after grandparents.
