[Opinions] Daisy
I never really liked the name Daisy because I used to think of Daisy Duck and daisies have never really been my favorite flowers. But now I think it's really cute. I'm a bit worried that it might become too popular very soon (similar to Lily). Do you know many parents who named their daughters Daisy recently ? I think it's so charming. I also like Maisie. Daisy doesn't seem nicknamish to me at all but Maisie does. Do you think it makes a nice full name ?

I love both Daisy and Maisie. I do prefer Daisy out of the two though. I've seen a couple of people on another board who have or know little girls named Daisy, but it's not super popular by any stretch of the imagination. I think Maisie works as a full name, definitely.

Whenever I hear Daisy, I think of Daisy Buchanan from "The Great Gatsby". I don't know if you're familiar with that character, but it's not the best association to have.I've never met a human Daisy; they've all been dogs.

I can picture a 4 year old Daisy and an 80 year old Daisy but not a 30, 40, etc. year old Daisy.I don't particularly care for Maisie.

I'm starting to like Daisy also. I think it's really cute, but could work for a girl later in life

It's cute. TOO cute. As is Maisie.
I can't imagine a 40-year-old Maisie. A 40-year-old Daisy, maybe, but I can't take her seriously.

Daisy used to be a common nickname for Margaret...don't know how they got from one to the other but there it is...
I think you should find a better name that can grow with a child to an adult but still call her Daisy as a nickname...

I couldn't imagine a President Daisy (insert last name).
