First, they don't need nicknames. Second, unless your from Southie don't call someone Mick.

I prefer Lea as a name on its own. Mick is very dated for any name and actually kind of offensive since it's an old term for the Irish.

Why do they need nicknames anyway? Leilani is fine by itself, although my friend Leilani occasionally goes by Lani. And Merrick is fine on its own too. Although Mick makes more sense for it. Merry would work too.
