Felix grew up as the eldest of three sons in an old and well-respected wizarding family, and attended Hogwarts from the age of eleven. He followed in the footsteps of his mother and was sorted into Ravenclaw house, where he thrived as a great wizard. Felix enjoys going to parties, horseback riding and playing and watching Quidditch.
Katherine Byrne, who prefers to be known as Kitty, grew up in a small wizarding village in the South of England, along with her two brothers and three sisters. She attended Hogwarts and was in Gryffindor, and was very popular amongst her classmates, becoming well known for her sharp sense of humour. Her favourite class was Charms, which she excelled in, and at home, she enjoys horseback riding.
The first time Felix saw Kitty, she had been a nervous first year getting sorted into Gryffindor house, and he had been a wordly second year who thought the new first years were impossibly small. Being in different houses and different school years, Kitty and Felix had little contact during their school time. They met properly during the summer before Felix's sixth year at Hogwarts, and Kitty's fifth, at a party that a mutual friend of their families was hosting. It turned out that both of their mothers were already friends, and there weren't many young witches or wizards at the party of their age, so Felix and Kitty spent most of that evening together. They discovered that they got on well, had plenty of things in common, and quickly struck up a friendship. When they both returned to Hogwarts, contact continued to be limited, but they often went horse riding together. They began dating casually, and, over the Christmas holiday period of Felix's seventh year, decided to make it official. They have now been together for a year and a half, and now that Kitty has just finished her education at Hogwarts, are moving in together. Felix plans to propose to Kitty sometime in the near future.
