Just as the West family was getting settled with the twins Amber & Drea, Shelby's new job as personal assistant to the State's Insurance Commissioner and Gabe's workload as a Real Estate agent after quitting his job in the sheriff's department to work with his Army Buddy, Levi Wilkes, a rather unexpected surprise came along, baby number 4.
At first Shelby wasn't even aware she was pregnant as she just put missing her periods to the stress of her new job and poor diet because of all the long hours. Gabe was even more shocked because due to their busy schedules he could even remember the last time they where 'imitate' , but after calculating back they worked out that they must have had a lot more fun than they remembered New Years Eve.
Now after confirming they where pregnant they decided again not to find out the sex of the child, but with past experience figured it would be a girl and decided they would probably go with Jessica Joelene after Shelby's parents Jesse Sr. & Joelene Rafferty.
But it true surprise form they had a boy, being caught out Gabe quickly decided to name him David-Levi Attius, David after the bibical king, whose father was Jesse, Levi after his boss and army buddy Levi Wilkes and Atticus after the character Atticus Finch from to Kill A Mocking Bird.

This pregnancy was actually planned! Callan is delighted to have a little brother at last, and Oceane doesn't seem to notice anything different.
The couple have always loved the name 'Levi' and as soon as he was born, they knew he looked like a 'Levi'. Callan also had a hand in choosing this child's middle name - Dashiell. He chose to name him after one of his favourite movie character, 'Dash' from 'The Incredibles'. The couple were relieved when they found out his full name was Dashiell, and the name also honours one of Gabriel's favourite authors.
Even though Iris is at home for work, her disability means that they have had to get extra help. They now have a childminder for several days a week, something they thought long and hard about. It means Iris can continue her painting and get a well-deserved rest from the children, and Gabriel can now take on other assignments at work. The arrangement suits them at the moment, but they'll see how it goes!

We just welcomed another child into our lives. It's another perfect baby, and it's a boy! We decided not to find out the sex this time, and we were so sure that it was a girl and we was going to name her Adéle Marceline. Guess what, when the baby was born we saw that it wasen't our little Adéle! It was a boy! We haden't picked any name for a boy so we panicked. In the middle of the night I dreamt that our child's name was David Felicien! I woke up and thought that it was the perfect name, and I waked up Gabriel to tell him about it. He liked David, but thoguht that Felicien sounded like Felicia. The same day as we were going home we decided to go with Connor as his middlename! So David Connor it is!
His siblings, River and Morrigan, loves him. Our little family is perfect and we can't wait to have more beautiful children to complete our family!
