My 3 year old is called Pearl and i love it - we have never met another one with the same first name and it does not bother me if it is used alot as a middle name because in the real world nobody really bothers with middle names.
When i see children called Rose and Grace i still think they are charming, despite their popularity in the middle spot
Pearl is lovley , but i very much feel that you either love it or hate it and i think this will keep it form becominf too popular in either spot.
