I love Pearl! It's on my list (along with Rose ;) as both a mn and a fn, though I'd much rather see Pearl (and again, Rose) as a fn. I wouldn't be surprised if it made a comeback, and I think it's ready. It fits in with the current Ruby, Grace, etc trend whilst still remaining rare and offbeat. I'd say go for it!
