What do you think? I'd never use it, but I think it could work because it's similar to Gertrude.

It sounds really cumbersome. I don't find the assonance with Gertrude very helpful, since anyway Gertrude is uncommon and a lot of people find it ugly.

I should like it because I like Gertrude. But Grat grosses me out so much. I don't like the sound but I don't mind the implications.

similar to Gertrude?I don't know as I'd go that far. That's like saying Rapture is close to Raphael, or Humility is similar to Emily.In any case, I don't like it at all. It has a very pretentious, wannabe puritan feel to it.

Yeah, exactly similar in that way. It has some of the same sound elements. Reminiscent. I'm not saying that they rhyme or anything.
