[Opinions] I adore it (m)

I adore it, but the Diarmaid spelling make my eyes process, "dairy maid." (I know the sound is very different; it's just the look that throws me off.) I much prefer Diarmuid (more rugged looking) or even the Anglicised Dermot. It's not ugly sounding at all. It is an acquired taste, but I find it very handsome.
Diarmaid / Diarmuid Ruaidhri sounds terrific. :-)
Mairead has been close to my heart ever since I was a young girl. I'm thrilled you're thinking of using her. :-D Mairead Aurelia is miles higher in class than Mairead Amaryllis.
While having siblings' names end in the same sound is not generally adviseable (channeling Jeeves), Diarmaid and Mairead are soooo awsome that I can look the other way. Besides, they have such unique sounds that they don't really sound all that similar anyway.
