Nat becomes pregnant. Who's the father? Do she keep the baby or not?
My little baby girl, Nat, had been acting a bit odd... She was rushing off to the bathroom all the time and started wearing baggy clothes alot... My first thought was that she had an eating disorder, she's only 14 after all and it's such an impressionable age...
I finally confronted her after about 3 weeks of this behaviour and she burst into tears confessing that she didn't have an eating disorder, quite the opposite - she was pregnant! My baby, having a baby... It's not something I thought I'd ever have to worry about with any of my girls, we've always been so open about safe sex and making sure they use contraceptives...
Nat was terrified obviously. The father was some boy from school who she'd slept with at a party... She says that she only ever did it the once, so if she's telling the truth she lost her virginity and got pregnant in the same night! We spelt a lot of time talking about her options, but Nat made the decision to keep her baby. I suppose it helps that she's got so many neices and nephews that shes been able to practise with! We've now welcomed Nat's son, Sirius, into our family and we're so pleased - he's a delightful little boy and the whole family has vowed to support Nat anyway we can.
