I like Isabel. True, she would have to spell it because there's also Isabelle and Isobel (the latter is actually my favorite spelling). But at least it's a legitimate spelling, unlike all those kids out there having to spell their name because it's misspelled.
Isabel Cecily is nice. I'd like Isabel Cecilia better. Cecily just seems incomplete or nicknamey to me.

I'm not sure where in the US it would fly. Everyone would assume that it was a kreativ spelling and she would spend her entire life correcting people.

I don't get why. Although me not understanding people is defintely nothing new. That would make me want to spell it that way even more. That way you can explain to people that it's a legitimate spelling and they can eat their hat.

But having grown up with a name people can't seem to spell - despite the fact that it's a commonly used WORD - I wouldn't want to do that to my daughter. :-D
