[Opinions] A satirised birth announcement! Lots of posh names!.
The latest issue of the British satirical magazine "Private Eye" has reproduced in a box, without comment, a b. a. that recently appeared in the upmarket London "Daily Telegraph". It's not clear whether P.E. finds the names or the number of kids in the family amusing. I suspect it's both!
I like some of the names - especially Delphine and Gabriella - but many others are a tad pretentious. WDYT?"On 26th July 2008, to Katy and Edward, a daughter, Florentina Emilie, a sister for Georgina, Christopher, Charlie, Clementina, Gabriella, Montgomery, Cordelia, Angelina, Seraphina, Decima and Delphine."

Georgina is one of my favorite names! I also like Christopher, Charlie, Clementina, and Cordelia. And strangely, Florentina is slightly appealing...

I laughed at Florentina Emile. XD It just...sounds so odd.I don't really like Georgina, Clementina (Although Clementine is growing on me), Gabriella, Montgomery, or Decima. Decima especially; it reminds me too much of decimal, and who wants a math name?I really, really love Charlie, Christopher, and Delphine, though. =)
