Really, every time someone "ax" about a name ending in X I think of her three with their self-consciously glib and punchy X endings (Pax, Knox, Maddox). I think the sound and look of it seems smug, brand-namey almost. Not important enough sounding, or something. But decent, I guess. And Dax reminds a little bit of ST. (so what.) NMS, not awful either. One of those stylish-on-paper-but-outre-in-real-life names.
