We knew before Kennedy was born that we were having a girl, so that gave us plenty of time to choose a name for her! We decided on her middle name of Faith because it is one of the many virtues we want to instill in her as she grows up. Her first name, Kennedy, took us until the time she was born to decide on. Bryan and I made a list of a couple names we both liked and decided to wait to see her until we chose, and when she was born, we both decided she looked like a Kennedy!
Life as a new parent is definitely tiring, but oh so rewarding! Luckily, Kennedy is a pretty good sleeper! She usually wakes up twice a night around 12-1 and around 4 and after her 4am feeding normally sleeps til 6:30 or 7! We were shocked, and it has been like this since she was about a week old! Decorating the nursery was so much fun! Bryan did all the painting and picking out the bedding and crib was definitely the most fun part! We chose certain colors because when Kennedy gets older, it will be easy to transition from a nursery to an older child's room.
