Yay, Pascal! I'm so happy to find another Pascal enthusiast; you have no idea! Er, nevermind... you probably do.
I adore Pascal. The sound and look are both very appealing, and I also love the historical connection. Historically significant names are the best. It doesn't remind me of rascal at all, as the stress is on the first syllable, not the second. Even if there was a connection, it wouldn't matter too much. Pascal the rascal: sounds pretty awesome to me.
I far prefer it as a FN. Of your combos, I like:
Pascal Desmond - Two of my favourite names!
Pascal Cedric
Pascal Dimitri
Pascal Morgan
Pascal Ferdinand
Pascal Severin
