I decided to use my wish to adopt another child!
This was a very exciting year for the James Family. Emily finally married her boyfriend of 6 years, Eric. The high school sweethearts were so excited to begin their life as a family, especially when they found out that Emily was pregnant...with twins! The boys arrived as healthy as could be.
Harrison and Belle, elated at the arrival of their grandchildren (but still believing they are too young to be grandparents!) had an exciting year as well. A simple visit to town on a Tuesday like any other, changed their lives and family forever. The James' went to town for the purpose of back-to-school shopping. Little did they know, DFCS was putting on a Back-to-School drive for foster children and orphans in the town's central park. The family, noticing the free food signs, and fun activities decided to stop by. Of course, Belle starting talking to one of the DFCS social workers, Ms. Davis. Ms. Davis introduced her to a few of the foster children and foster parents. Immediately, Belle's heart hurt for these children and their situations. One little boy in particular stood out. One look at this 5 year old boy with soft brown eyes and a sweet smile, and Belle fell in love! When she saw Colin happily playing with him, she knew this little boy must be a part of this family. Harrison agreed, and suddenly, Micah had a permanent, loving home with the James'.
