Love Ingrid. Love Ingrid. I wouldn't use it, but I'm very fond of Norwegian names in general, since they're a part of my heritage and environment (I've met everyone from Solveig to Odin, man). And they're just cool sounding, and I love Norwegian names.
Astrid is one of those where I do like it, but it doesn't have quite the same appeal as a lot of others. I think it's pretty enough, but there are enough names that I like more that it just doesn't have the same shine.
