Joseph Alexander Jr., or JJ (Joseph Junior), is the newest addition to the Martin household! Joey is very excited to have a son, and Beth is just as glad to have another little child around the house. Louisa is now five and has just started learning how to do simple chores, like feed the chickens, milk the cows, and help Beth in the vegetable garden. Samantha also helps in the vegetable garden, but she usually spends her days playing with Louisa outside. Joey finally saved up enough money to put an addition on their small house--the harvest wasn't so good the past two years. He plans to get some neighborhood men to help him after the harvest. Beth is excited about the new addition and can't wait until she has more room and storage space--Joey also promised to expand the tiny cellar!
