Two years after Louisa was born, Joey and Beth Martin welcomed another little girl to the family! Samantha Faith was born five weeks early, which caused quite a scare to both the Martins and their doctor. However, Samantha pulled through and is now doing just fine. Joey's crop has done well for the past two years and he has saved up enough money to pay off his initial loans to buy the land and equipment, as well as to buy another plot of land adjoining his own so that he can plant more. Beth recently mentioned that their little three-room house might be getting a bit too small, so Joey is looking into buying some lumber and adding an addition to their little house.
