[Facts] Website for Name Pronunciation
(Forgive me if this post doesn't belong here, but this board seemed the best fit since the post deals with name pronunciation.)
Forvo.com is a relatively new website that claims to have "all the words in the world, pronounced." They're not quite there yet, but lots of new words are being added every day. They have dozen of different languages (with the ability to add ones you'd like to see there). Users can add words they want to hear, pronounce words others have submitted, and, of course, listen to any word on the site pronounced by a native speaker.
I enjoy language in general, so the site has been interesting to me, but I wanted to share it with you all because I have found it helpful for name pronunciation.
For example, I submitted the name of one of my Polish ancestors, Wladislaw, and a few days later received an email notification that someone had pronounced the name! Written pronunciations with keys are helpful, but sometimes you just need to hear it.
Has anyone else used Forvo or another site like it for name pronunciation? What do you think about the concept? I'd love to hear your thoughts.

Władysław is written with a Y. The pronunciation on the site for it is correct though. The person is saying it with a Y and not an I(Polish is my first language).
