[Opinions] Oona
WDYTO Oona? Do you think it works better as a FN or a MN? Any FN or MN suggestions would be great!

I prefer the spelling Una (though without any accents) because the 'oo' looks weird to me although it is quite cool. Definitely different in a good way - sort of eyecatching without resorting to M'KyLeeSyn or Shayellaleighanna :) (I hope these two are not actually in use).
I like the name and the spelling Una is on my list.

I really like as both a FN and a MN.
The way it looks is a major turnoff to me. Una is fine for someone else's kid (puts me in mind of The Faerie Queene, which is a good thing), but Oona does just about less than nothing for me. :-/
Oona Philomel comes to mind. Oona Charity, Oona Beatrice, Oona Fiacretine. :D
I've got to run, or I'd come up with a proper list for you.

Oona Philomel...
is fabulous; so quirky and beautiful!
I like Una and The Faerie Queene, but I just cannot get over the fact that "una" is an indefinite article in Spanish... it makes the name seem insubstantial to me. I also associate Oona (that spelling) with something in my childhood, maybe a fantasy novel or film? I wish I could remember what.
And I just like "weird" names in general. :P
