[Opinions] I would like to pronounce it neh-VAY, but apparently everyone says neh-VAY-uh. It seems senseless. nt

Not senseless! Makes perfect sense!
Especially if you think of the last syllable as -eh and not -uh.
Raphael pronounces the -el. Israel. Azrael. AE is not uncommonly pronounced as two separate syllables. Michael puzzles me a lot actually, none of the other archangels clip their "el" syllable like that, it should be mick-hie-el IMO

ditto.
ditto, neh-VAY is actually pretty IMO
Nevé, maybe?
Or even Nivé(e) would be pretty! With the first spelling (Nevé) you could tell everyone it's "even" backwards, because you want everything to be even, fair, and just in her life. That would show all the parents who name their daughters Nevaeh! ;)
