The couple was thrilled to discover that they were having another child! And even Lucho was very happy to have another baby girl, like his little princess Eva. She has very much taken after her father and she always has her football with her.
During the pregnancy, Lucho had to go away for a few days with the team, to play a CL game. It was two weeks before the baby was due, and although Maria couldn't go with him no one was able to stop her from watching the match on TV. The teams were tied until at minute 88 Lucho scored a goal and made a gesture she knew to be to dedicate the goal to her and the girls. She was cheering with their families, when she felt the first contraction. Diana was born ten hours later. When Lucho came back, he made her promise that in any future pregnancies, she wouldn't watch the matches on the third trimester. Still, Diana was a healthy baby.
