Blaise and Gemma met in Albania, where they were both serving in the Peace Corps. Now they're back in the United States and living in Philadelphia, where Gemma's going to medical school at UPenn and Blaise is teaching high school geography. After she gets done with school, Gemma wants to move to Ireland, where she grew up (she moved to New York when she was 9), and Blaise is all for it. They'd like to have kids, but Gemma wants to wait until she's finished up her residency before they start seriously thinking about it.
