I really like it. I would even consider using it because it is a family name for me. I used to not like it at all, but it has grown on me, especially recently.

I don't mind it. I actually think I prefer it for a mn though. It just seems to go with a lot of names.

I love Paul. Especially the combo Paul David.

Until recently I never thought much of Paul, despite it being my father and grandfathers name. All of a sudden I'm seeing such potential in Paul! It's really grown on me. I would only use it as a mn, but it is definitely on my list.

I love Paul.It helps that I know a truly wonderful Paul who reminds me of such iconic actors like Cary Grant and Jimmy Stewart. He is very much the gentleman. Also, Paul just has a great sound; it's sharp without being harsh, and it strikes me as strong and gentle.

I like Paul, but is a little overused these days.

I don't like it. I've known quite a few people named Paul. I like more unusual names, this is bordering on boring for me.

Very nice. Classic.

I quite like Paul. He seems like he'd be a generally fun loving, goofy guy. Handsomeness is a probably quality as well. :)

I prefer it as a MN. It's okay as a FN, nothing wrong with it. I just prefer it in the MN slot

I love the name Paul. It's classic, timeless, strongly masculine, and has a clear, clean aspect to it that I also associate with the girl's name Claire.
I think it deserves to be used more often - it's been only quietly used for too long.

I don't like it. I can't come up with any concrete reason why I don't. I just don't. Never have.

It's okay, its on my PNL, but only because its my Dad name so its hard for me not to like it. Honestly its too plain for me and I hate the way half of my family says it (like the pall in pall-bearer almost). However I do like Pauwel, Paolo, and Pavel which I believe have similar roots.

I've never cared for Paul and I really don't know why. I've known many wonderful Pauls, I like the Biblical/saint namesake behind it, and I like its timelessness. Yet somehow I can't get myself to like this name. ::Shrug:: That being said, I think it would be delightful to see someone else use it.

I prefer Saul -- it's just a bit less common and unique, I think. That said, there's nothing in the world wrong with Paul. It's not super-popular, it's handsome and strong, it's just not really my personal taste. I actually think it's the "P" - I just don't like many "P" names (with the exception of Patrick, I guess).
