Millie can also be for Millicent - even Camilla.
I prefer these to Amelia, and Amelia to Mildred, which I think is dreadful!
I like it as a nn better than as a name in its own right.

Amelia from your choices, I don't think Millie stands up well as a full name, even on a 10 year old. But Romilly, Pomeline, Millicent & Camilla are my four favorite ways to get to Millie and the first two are my own lists for the next possible child.

Millie only fits an very young girl or very old lady, imo.Mildred fits the old lady thing again, but I adore Amelia.

Of those two, I like Amelia better. I like Ludmila best, though.I'm not into nicknames as full names.

I say Mildred or Camille

I really like Camille but Grant had a bit of a fling with a Camilla before he met me so it'd be a bit weird to use it.

Amelia. Mildred is ugly IMO. What do you think of Millicent? My cat is called Millie. It's not really short for anything.

Mildred..I can't stand Millie as a full name, it's too cutesy and childish.
Amelia is nmsaa, I dislike it but I can't really tell you why.

I prefer Amelia to Mildred, but my favorite full names for it are Camilla and Millicent.I also like it as a given name, but only spelled Milly. (For whatever reason, I love both Millie and Milly as nicknames, but only Milly as a given name. *shrug* )

If it has too be short for something then Amelia but I think it stands on its own and is best as a full name, or perhaps a nn fr Camilla.

I like both but probably Amelia.
I think Millie can stand on its own but it doesn't age very well. How about Milla? I think it's a beautiful name & you could use the nn Millie.
