[Opinions] Rune?
How do you feel about Rune?
I think I prefer it to Rhun, as it has Norse origin (so it matches with Liv and Freya), but Rhun has more history behind it (name of a mythological Welsh prince). What do you prefer, Rhun or Rune?

I'm probably not much help because I like both of them for different reasons. I like the sound, which obviously applies to both of them.I think Rune is neat because of the English word rune. I also like the way it looks better. But is it actually pronounced like the English word, even though it is Norse?I think Rhun is neat because of Welsh mythology, and being the name of a character in one of my favorite book series as a child (used because of the mythology though).Based on meaning/history alone, I guess I'd pick Rhun though.

PronounciationYou're right, Rune is not pronounuced like the word rune. It's more like Roon-eh (The U-sound in this name doesn't exist in English).

The U-soundIs the U like the German ü? I really like that sound...

I would pronounce it like you would pronounce 'rune' in English.

I prefer Rune, its very handsome and it looks right to me, Rhun doesnt look right to me and it looks like it should sound the same as Run.

I like Rune better. It's been on my list for a little while now. And, it does fit quite nicely with Liv and Freya.
