[Opinions] Two sets of triplets
There was a show this Monday on German television about two families who both had triplets (G/G/G and G/B/B) at the same hospital within a month or two of each other. I thought I'd post their names. I'm not sure about the spellings.Eva Louisa, Anna Katharina and Clara Larissa (all double names). They also had an older brother named Raphael.Jana, Marlon and LucaWDYT? I'm not a big fan of either sibset, but they're not horrible. I do think having triplets with double names and 16 syllables between them will be hard.

Eva Louisa, Anna Katharina, and Clara Larissa are all gorgeous as combos but ridiculous as double names. Eva, Anna, Clara and Raphael would be a fantastic sibset.I adore Luca, and Jana is okay, but Marlon is awful.

Ooh, the girls were well named. I might borrow Eva Louisa.I can't imagine using a double name for each child. I predict they'll be shortened somehow.

I really like Marlon and Luca is nice too. Overall I think that set was pretty good. I don't like the girls names though I love Louisa.

The double FNs is just too much, especially when all the names end in the same sound. It's too much for me and quite a mouthfull. The second set is nice though.

I agree, the double name is a bit much to me. i have never been a fan of this. Eva & Anna are cute together but imo Clara doesnt fit as well as maybe Emma, Cara, Marie, Clare or something simular. idk why, i just dont think Clara fits as well. as for the other set:
Jana is ok
I dont like Marlon at all
Lucas would have been batter than Luca.

Double names on triplets? I agree, that's way too much. I'm not completely against double names in general (as long as they aren't the generic 'Mary Anne' ect. I adore Eva Kate) but this is such a mouthful. Eva, Anna and Clara would have been a wonderul set as well. I genuinely can't see them being called 'Anna Katharina' and so on when they grow up. Their friends will inevetably develop nick names for them so I'm sure they'll become something like Evie, Anna and Rissa. The names just aren't phesible any other way IMO. I'm really not a fan of Jana, Marlon and Luca. Luca is alright although I much, much prefer other Luc- names (Lucas, Lucy, Lucille, Lucien, Lucius). Marlon seems like such a geeky name to me. I don't know why as I've never met a Marlon but it really does seem that way. Harsh I know! Jana is a just a little plain. It might be a cultural thing as well but I've never taken to Jan or Jana - they look as if they should be jahn and jahn-uh but obviously they're not. I dislike them both ways though.Altogether though I agree with you - OK sibsets.
