[Opinions] Melody?
So I heard this name on T.V the other day and just loved the way it sounded. It has a lyrical qualilty when you say it outloud. Plus Im a musician so it's fitting for me to use lol.
Just wondering people's thoughts on the name.
Possible combos I like are:
Melody Estelle
Melody Louise
Melody Victoria
Melody Elizabeth
Melody Amelia
Melody Katherine
Melody Sarah
Any of those appealing to anyone? Any other combos you can think of?
Also...a possible last name I may use in the future is Lee.
So is Melody Lee too cutesy? or is it alright...
Melody Victoria Lee perhaps? lol
Thoughts on the sometimes nn of Mel?
Thoughts in general? Thanks!

I suppose in theory it's a nice name, but the two people I've ever met with that name were quite... lower class, we'll say. So that's the kind of person the name makes me think of. I wish I could like it. I'm a musician too, and I also like the Mel- sound. Melanie is a better alternative in my opinion.

I think Melody is nice, if a little bit 70s. It's got a pretty sound and obviously nickname potential with Mel - even though I dislike Mel. I think Melanie is nicer.
All those middle names are fine, though I think Sarah is terribly bland and Elizabeth too predictable. Melody Estelle would get my vote.

I think Melody is very pretty. I like Melanie more, but Melody is nice. I think it needs a fairly short middle name:
Melody Erin
Melody Iris
Melody Jean
Melody Paige
Melody Amber
Melody Beth
Melody Faye
Melody Susan
Melody Erin
Melody Iris
Melody Jean
Melody Paige
Melody Amber
Melody Beth
Melody Faye
Melody Susan
I like the sound and meaning of Melody, but where I live old people tend to assume you are saying "Melanie" which bothers me. Of course lots of names get misunderstood but that one seems to stick no matter how many times they are corrected! I like the combos that you put together, with the exception of Melody Sarah. It doesn't seem to flow right to me. LOVE the others though, esp. Melody Elizabeth and Katherine.
Not really fond of the nn Mel, but that's just me.

I really like it. I think I would use it as a middle name, not because it's too out-there, but just because it seems to fit better that way. Anyway, I think Melody Amelia and Melody Sarah are excellent. I don't think Melody goes great with the last name Lee; it seems too singsongy to me. Not terrible, though.
