ok well they are right...Arwen means noble maiden. Arwyn is just a variation of that same meaning. As far as I can tell Awen must be another variation...there are no good roots or words which could explain this as a name unto itself. Awen, I would say, is a typo, and Aven i really dont know..Ill look into it

surprisingly Ive found that the name Aven may very well have meaning of its own. It could be considered a shortening of the word Ravenne which means "lioness". It could also be translated "noble shape or form". this comming from the word "venie" meaning "shape or form" and "Ar" which as you know means noble...hope that helps some.
