I just found out that MLB player Al Leiter's first name is Alois. What do you think of it? I like it better than Albert or the other Al- names off the top of my head.

My cousin's husband is named Alois. I think it's an okay name. They have a son named John Alois.

I prefer Aloysius, but its a nice short form

I think I'd prefer the spelling Aloys but I don't think it's usable today.

It makes me think of Adolf Hitler because it was his father's name. I don't like it.
