[Opinions] Adrian vs. Ardian
Hi
my name is Adrian but my beloved uncle's name is very similar, but yet different in many ways. It's Ardian. I asked him years back if that was a missprobnunciation of Adrian but he said it wasn't. He said he was named after an Anceint Illyrian tribe of Ardiaei.
Later on I did quite some research and got more information about this and other similar names.
My question to you is, are we, the members allowed to provide a referenced etymology for some of the names that are not yet listed here?
Kind Regards
Adrian

You can submit, but not on this board.
Yes, users certainly can submit new names. The form you need is available at http://www.behindthename.com/submit/submit.php. This is also linked from the behindthename front page, on the left under "Other."
This won't add your new name to the "permanent collection" as it were, but if a user searches specifically for the name you added, he will be directed to your entry.
