[Opinions] Cosette
Opinions on Cosette? I actually like it more pronounced "Cozette." The 'z' sound makes it flow easier.

I prefer Colette. Cosette just sounds like a freakish version of Colette. :-)

I think the "s" in Cosette in supposed to be pronounced like "z." I think it's a pretty name, but I don't like the fact that it doesn't mean anything. In Les Misérables, Cosette was a nn (her real name was Euphrasie). But you probably already knew that. :-)
I think I would like it better as a mn. The aforementioned Imogen Cosette is lovely, and very literary.

i love Cosette!
It's too tied to the character for me, and since I don't particular like the character, I don't really care for the name.
I always imagine Cosette, the character from Les Miserables, and, the first thing that pops into my mind when THAT arises is Claire Danes, an unfortunate image when discussing classic literature and beautiful names from literature.
I have nothing against the name itself. It's one of a very small number of -ette names that I actually like.

I always think of cosy when I here this which gives it a very good connotation and a nice glowing feeling but it certainly isn't a favourite of mine. I've never taken to it despite the cosiness. It makes a very good middlename though. I adore Imogen Cosette and Aurora Cosette.
Imogen Cosette IS very beautiful!
