[Opinions] WDYTO Viveca?
There goes my weakness for girl V names, again, and I know it's similar to Vivian/Vivien which I just posted about. This name is not in this site's database, and I only know of its existence because of the actress Viveca Lindfors, who was Swedish, so I imagine it's a Swedish name. I like it, though given a choice I'd choose Vivien.
Do you like Viveca? Which is better, Viveca or Vivien?

I like Viveca, but prefer Vivica.

I do like Viveca but Vivien is sweeter, so I'd probably go with Vivien.

I like both! They're very pretty names (I love V names, too). There's also the US actress Vivica A. Fox with the name.

Viveca, Vivica, VivekaI prefer Vivica - there's a woman from my hometown who's now a famous opera singer named Vivica Genaux (her real name), which I always thought was a hopelessly romantic name. However, I'm not particularly wild about either Vivica or Viveca (or the original Swedish form Viveka). The sound is not very appealing to me, and I don't like the meaning. (Though the meaning does get a little confused particularly with the spelling Vivica, because it is more immediately reminiscent of the Latin "vivi" - life - than the Germanic "wig" - war - from which it actually derives).

I love both Viveca and Vivian. Vivienne is usually in my top ten, but for some reason today I'm liking Viveca better. Vivian is feeling a little stuffy and proper lately, while Viveca is more playful and spunky. I do prefer the Viveca spelling over the other legit spelling, Viveka, because I think the c makes the name look less harsh than the k.

I don't really like Viveca because it sounds too close to Rebecca. Not that I have anything against Rebecca, they way they rhyme just weirds me out. I love Vivien though.

Viveka is in the database, and you are right, it is Swedish.I don't dislike V names, but neither Viveca or Vivien do anything for me. Just okay. I think I prefer Viveca today though.

My mom wanted to name me Viveca. and lol, as coincidence would have it, my name is Victoria. I like it, it's pretty but it always had a bizarre vibe to it. Maybe it's because I'm not really a "Viveca" and it was a consideration for me. Who knows. Definitely better than Vivien, and she can still have the nn Viv or Vivi or whatever.
