I really dislike Alfie, but considering it's rising popularity in the UK (along with other nns like Ellie and Katie) I doubt a lot of people would say it's too nicknamey, but as a namenerd I'd prefer Alfred "Alfie" (but ultimately Alfred "Freddie")

Neil (m) - handsome, recognisable, but not too popular. Love it.
Craig (m) - eh, it's ok.
Caoimhe (f) - may have some major pronounciation issues but it has a nice sound
Cheyenne (m) - firstly, this is more commonly used on girls nowadays. Secondly, I think it's not a name at all for a person and shouldn't be used at all. It's a name of a culture.
Bonnie (f) - fine for someone else
George (m) - handsome, traditional, nothing really wrong with it.
Charlie (m) - as a nn for Charles I love it, but I've seen enough just Charlie's.
Caroline (f) - pretty and practical
Christian (m) - it'll always be just a religion to me, I really don't like it on a person. I remember a boy named Christian coming to my school for a little while and lots of people thought it was ridiculous (but then again, our school is not predominantly Christian). But it does have history and a nice sound.
Tristan (m) - if you don't mind the ties to the myth (Tristan and Isolde) then it's fine
Joss (m) - cool, I like it. I think it can work as a nn for Joseph or Joshua or any other name beginning with Jos-
Kelly (m) - it's now a major girls name, but I don't have a problem with it on a boy. I rather like it
Mackenzie (m) GP - trendy, surname, horrible sound.
Sindy (m) GP - yeah, keep it as a GP. It's a girls name.
