I have no idea what the correct pronunciaiton of
Luciana is. I would tend to say, "loo-see-AH-nuh." It reminds me a bit of the Lusitania, but it's not that overwhelming in my head that i couldn't separate them out.

Lucy makes perfect sense to me. Nns are the place to let whimsy run wild. Your variation doesn't even register on the "how did they get that nn from that formal name?" register.
