I like it. I think it's pretty. I've had a character named Ada for a long time. It sounds like a Southern Belle name, so I think names like Clementine, Aurora, Charlotte, Caroline, Georgia, and Susanna go with it. I don't think I've ever actually met anyone named Ada, but it is a town not too far from where I grew up. I don't think it needs a nickname, but I guess if you want to use one maybe Adie? I don't really like that though. Sounds like eighty. Anyway... I think it's a nice alternative to Ava, which is unfortunately so common now (because I like that name too!)
