Tom's company is very successful and he has earned quite a lot of money. He doesn't see his three adult children a lot anymore. Unfortunately, he and Anna got divorced a little more than a year ago; Anna has custody of Morris, but Tom sees him often. Tom now has a new girlfriend, Hallie Rocha, an actress, who is 32 years younger than him. Hallie is pregnant with a girl. Sam and Rory love their two children, Leo and Mamie, and decided they didn't want to adopt more. Now, however, Rory is pregnant with a boy, after years of thinking she couldn't have children! They want to use another strong and uncommon name (with a nn) which should go well with Leopold and Marguerite. It's unusual for them to have to pick a mn, as they always just used the given name, so Samwise wants to honor the "tradition" of his family and give his son a mn from Science Fiction or Fantasy.
