[Opinions] Dagmar / Dagmara
There is an actress by the name of Dagmara Dominczyk. Does anyone know if this is an actual variation of Dagmar or just something the actress has done for her own reasons?
ETA: I've also seen Frigg and Frigga. Any thoughts?

It's a variant.
I've met a Dagmara too, and as far as I know you're right and it's a variation of Dagmar.
I knew a girl called Dagmara and she was German born, so I am guessing this is a name they actually use.
As for Frigg and Frigga the only thoughts I have is NO!!!! Frigg and 'friggin' is Australian slang for another word beggining with F and ending in ck.

Yeah...I live in the U.S. and some of us say friggin too. I just wondered if Frigga was a variation of the Norse Frigg.
You say it there too? cool, i didnt know that.
I have no idea about Frigga, I didnt even know it was a name until you posted this message. But I just cant get past the slang term!
