[Opinions] tonight's selections just scream "low-class!"
Seriously, they do. People who can actually have class (class is different from money; you can have all the money in the world and still be low-class and trashy) generally do not feel hte need to name their kids garbage like Princess Precious or Lady Diana. It's what we call "putting on airs" and when you put on airs, others can see right through them.Harper Marietta: Sounds like an aircraft company.Destiny Star: Great porno star name.Jeilexandria Angielicya: Random Scrabble Tile Dumping Time!Beautiful Diamonds: This is a pretty good illustration of what my first paragraph was about.King Berle Annette: Let's name a boy Queen Bernice Anthony.CHeyenne Autumn: Paint color?Cheyenne Rain: Starring John Wayne and Barbara Stanwyck.Cherokee Sun Saad: *grits teeth, punches wall*Heaven Nevaeh: Oh, they must think they're so creative and original!Princess Summer: The Indian princess on Howdy Doody was Princess Summerfall Winterspring.Lady Cannon: Sounds dangerous.Lords Love; *gags*Basil Ibn: Ummm, isn't Ibn always used between names? Like say Abdullah ibn Mohammed?River Knight: He must find and destory Lady Cannon.King Marvelous: He is River Knight's employer.King John: Remember AA Milne's poem that began "King John was not a good man."King Willie: Sounds like some old blues musician: King Willie Jeffersona dn Blind Jimmy Starks or something.Heavenly: as if it's not bad enough giving that toa girl.Aqua Marianna: At least she has Marianna.Atchison Bluenyte: Is it a product? Like toilet bowl cleaner or ink or something?

Lol as usual. I think ibn literally means "son of", so Abdullah Ibn Mohammed would be Abdullah the son of Mohammed. So Basil Ibn is Basil son of????
King John definitely has bad reputation, demonized for instance in the Robin Hood stories as the usurper of Richard I. If in their warped minds they thought naming a child after a king of England was very fancy-schmancy, they could have gone for King William, King Edward, King George and it would have been marginally less awful.

There will always be low-class, tasteless, unguided people. Unfortunately they are allowed to name their offspring. Really it just makes the intelligent people look greater by comparison. The truth is, these people are so vain, they want to appear like they are beyond the influnce of anyone else's ideas, thus, you get these egregious discombobulations as a result. Vanity and distaste.

Well . . .Basil Ibn: Ummm, isn't Ibn always used between names? Like say Abdullah ibn Mohammed? It's a middle name, so possibly they thought the "ibn" in "Abdullah ibn Mohammed" was like the middle name in "Basil Ibn Whatever."I doubt it though, as that would require thought.
