[Opinions] Isabeau & Mirabeau
I really love the name Isabeau (g), but I can't come up with any good combos. It seems like Isabeau should have a really cute, feminine middle name. Any suggestions?
Also, I heard the name Mirabeau today. I love the name Mira and Mirabelle. I think the -beau at the end of it makes Mirabeau kinda cute. Wdyt?
Thanks!

I simply adore Isabeau! I always hear that it looks like the masculine version of Isabelle, and I have to keep explaining that the ending is not beau, it's eau.
My favorite combo is Isabeau Hermione, but here are some other suggestions:
Isabeau Lilac
Isabeau Thalia
Isabeau Irina
Isabeau Natasha
Isabeau Francesca
Isabeau Gabrielle
Isabeau Valentine [val-un-TEEN]
Isabeau Colette
Isabeau Lilia
Isabeau Marguerite
Isabeau Persephone
Isabeau Calanthe
Isabeau Gemma
Isabeau Sebastienne
Isabeau Mairead
Mirabeau is very cute, but it sounds a little nicknamey to me for some reason.

I can't help but think that Isabeau is masculine. Beau is masculine, belle is feminine - Isabelle. But if you are going to use Isabeau for a girl I agree it needs a really feminine name.
Mirabeau is again masculine imo (feminine would be Mirabelle). It also makes me think of a poem by Appolinaire called Le pont de Mirabeau.

"o" ending trend?
Not what you asked, i know, but I've seen Isabeau mentioned quite frequently, and Mirabeau seems like a "next step"- and maybe a little forced. They both look sort of masculine, but I like the sound- Margot is one of my favs.
Add that to Coco, Shiloh, Harlow and Hero the celebrity infants, Juno the trendy character, and at least where I am, Clio and Marlowe as somewhat popular in the preschool set...is that a trend? Maybe it's some sort of weird conjuction of the masc. names for girls trend and the increasing use of Spanish in the US...

I adore Isabeau, but I'm not big on Mirabeau. For some reason Mirabeau sounds more like a resort than a person.
