Laparra (and Parra and de la Parra) is a Spanish surname, not French (in French, parra doesn't mean "grapevine"; in Spanish, it does). The presence in France of Laparra is the same that the presence of García or Pérez, migrations. And about the presence in Guatemala, its presence has the same explanation that the presence of any other Spanish surname in Latin America.
