Help[Opinions] Terrence
It's sounding pleasant and handsome to me today, and I can almost justify it as honouring--it's very reminiscent of my mother's name, Teresa. :) I don't even mind nn Terry, though Tel appeals to me more. (However, since I prefer Ptolemy "Ptolly" to Terrence "Telly", Terry or the full name seems more likely at the moment.)
What do you think of Terrence? And while it doesn't worry me too terribly, does it fit in at least a little with my other favourites for boys (Morpheus, Ptolemy, Lucien, Edmond, Simon, Nathaniel), or do you think it'd stick out a bit?
I haven't gotten so far as thinking about combos yet--we'll have to leave that for a later date.

I actually quite like Terrence. I think it would work with your other names.

I've always thought Terrence (prefer Terence) was an underappreciated name. It's the sort of name I love seeing brought back from obscurity.
It's just as dashing as Morpheus, Ptolemy, Lucien, Edmond, Simon and Nathaniel. With Terence, you'd have quite a brood of heart-breakers.
The only combination I have for it in stock is Terence Michael. But that seems too commonplace for you.

Terrence is a good name, and goes well with your other favourites. Terry, fine nick-name, though the full name isn't too long.
I have a friend, a nun, named Teresa, she's always called Sister Terry. She's a teacher, and at one time was in charge of the "at risk" high school kids-was always leading a gaggle of rough-looking boys about the school. She'd even go down to the local jail with a kid's homework, should he/she have got on the wrong side of the law. sorry, rambling....

I love Terrence, but prefer the spelling Terence because it has a longer history (comes from the Roman author Terentius). I think Terrence is more popular just because it abbreviates to Terry more easily. I also like the Italian variant, Terenzio.

Cool. Terrence sounds like a very smooth and confident fellow. I like it.

I really like Terrence! It doesn't seem like it has been used much lately, but I think it's quite nice. I actually just put it on my long list of names a few weeks ago and it's really been growing on me.
