I met a girl on chat the other day who told me her name was Tawny. I thought it was a really unusual name. Kinda cool, but not sure if I like it or not. I'm kinda on the fence.

I don't really like it but ages ago I came across the name Tahnee (same pronunciation, I think) and it really stuck with me for some reason.

It reminds me of Tawny Kitaen (sp?) and for that reason it seems tacky to me.

I find it tacky, I mean, it's just a colour. Also, it looks like a name for a cat.

I really quite like it, makes me think of a tawny owl, although the name just means brown, it has a kind of sylvan feeling
