I like Aurora, but the nn Rory is exactly why I would not use the name. Rory never sounds right to my ears.

I love Aurora! Though I don't get why so many people find it hard to pronounce. Rory is a nn is cute, although I do prefer it on a boy. Rora would be a cute nn.

It's not that it's hard to pronounce, it's just that it's hard to get out. Like you know how the letters sound and how they fall out, but then you sort of stumble to get it out. Plus the sounds sort of fall together.

Rory works very well for Aurora. I like Aurora, I just find it difficult to say.

I love Aurora, the only downfall is that it's sort of hard to pronounce. I like Rory as a nn.

I love Aurora (for a girl, I'm assuming) and I think it's so elegant. While I like Rory best on a boy, I think Rory works fantastic as a nn for Aurora, and I'd much rather see a girl with Rory used as a nn than just plain Rory. Very cute!
