I don't mind it, but prefer it as a nn. I like Elijah the best, but Elias is alright too.

Eli is a fav of mine. I used to prefer it by itself, but then I grew fond of Elijah so now I'd use it as a nn. I think it's great either way.

I am tempted to use it by itself, but I also like it as a nn for Elias and Elijah. Maybe Eliot, although I tend to prefer Elliott / Eliott and that doesn't quite work.

It's alright, not amazing IMO but not terrible either. Eli could definitely be a nickname for Elias.
