From round 5-
I was shocked to find a packet of condoms in Nate's bedroom, he was only 13! But I thought if he knew about protection then that's a good thing. Ben talked to him about it, and he said that they'd been learning about sex and relationships at school and that they' given them out. He says he won't be having sex for years, and he was quite embarrassed about it. I guess we can only trust what he says.
Round 6-
We were shocked and upset when Lettie's school contacted us because she had been caught doing drugs at the back of school. She was embarrassed about it and she said that it was the first and last time, and she was just trying it. We grounded her and took her phone off her for a while, and told her about the trouble drugs can get you into, which certainly scared her. She had got in with the wrong crowd and they were pressuring her into it. Lettie didn't want to go back to school, but we told her she had to face it. She isn't friends with the others any more but has some lovely new friends. It was humiliating for us to go through but I don't think she'll be doing it again.
