We had a nasty storm on Christmas Eve. The whole family was home, including pregnant Vreni, her husband Cale, Zel and her husband Ross. Everyone except Teddy, Rob and Addie were in the basement finishing organizing presents. The boys were in the kitchen and Addie was upstairs in her room. An old tree next to our house crashed into our roof, smashing it. When we heard the noise, we ran up the stairs. The boys were fine (but scared), but we found Addie unconscious. She was taken to the hospital. Luckily, she had only broken a leg when a part of the roof hit the it. We are very thankful that nobody was seriously injured.
