O! I swoon for Luke. It won't be that dated. (Wait, are you talking about Luke or Liam? Check the charts...)
I don't see it as yuppie at all. That may be because I only know one Luke. But oh, the phonetics of Luke! The perfect syllable. The soft, sleek L and the gentle stopping of the K. And the long U that I love so much. Luke reeks of the gospels to me.
I support it much more than Liam and most L- names.
